I received this product to do a fair and honest review of it, when I received The Dimetapp Cold & Cough I took it next door to my good friend and neighbor who has 3 young children. Amazingly enough when I was talking with her, her husband just came in with their eldest daughter who had to leave early from school that day due to feel sick. She had a cough, runny nose, sneezing, stopped up head, and itchy watery eyes and just felt miserable. So I asked her mom if she wanted to try the Dimetapp, and she said she did. We looked at the directions to see what the dosage would be for her age, and gave her the 10mls. Amanda (the daughter) loved the grape taste, she said it wasn’t too syrupy like many of the cough medicines are and it wasn’t too thin either like some others which then can be too medicine like. This one tasted good, she like the taste of it.
Amanda’s symptoms improved as well- after taking the Dimetapp Cold & Cough she went and took a short nap ( approximately 1.5 hours) and when she woke up her eyes were not red and itchy any more, she wasn’t sneezing anymore, she still had a runny nose but not as bad, and her head was still stuffed up also not as bad.She was still coughing but a lot of that had to do with the drainage from her runny nose, it wasn’t as bad as it was before she took the Dimetapp. So when it was time that she could take some more Dimetapp Cold & Cough her mom gave her an additional dosage that was the final one for that day. She didn’t need any more until the next day when she got up in the morning, she was feeling much better and Dimetapp Cold & Cough seem to help on this occasion.
